This is a great upgrade from the 4s it has mainly 3 features i love the 32gb hard drive that allows me to get more apps, the better camera with flashh i love it and the front camera it makes it fun to take photos highly recommended.

Purchased this case because I already owned one & liked the protection it gave my iPhone 5. The plastic shield that covers the screen is thick enough to give adequate protection but thin enough that it doesn’t interfere with the touch screen actions.
The only draw back to the case is that when you’re talking on th phone it doesn’t allow you to hold the phone close to your ear and diminishes the volume even with it turned up on high.

The cover is cute! And really cheep. Came quickly and before the eta. The cover is easy to get on but hard to take off. The front cover cracked already, prolly from taking it off because I haven’t dropped my phone with that cover on. It lasted a little over a week. But for the price, and free shipping it’s a good fair price. I don’t know how well it would protect from a fall. The cover is also peeling, witch kind of made me sad cuz I looooved the bright pink color!

My last Otterbox on my iPhone 4S lasted over 2 years (minus the clip on the holder breaking after 2 weeks). I’m just as happy with this one! The build is extremely sturdy, the new clip holster is MUCH MUCH MUCH more sturdy, and the screen protector leaves no bubbles like the last one did. If you care about protecting your phone (I drop mine daily), and this is THE CASE you need to get!
Before buying the Otterbox Defender, I spoke with several people on what “cover” they had for their i-phone. Most people saaid that their’s was “OK,” but the people that had Otterbox almost always said “good” or “Great.”! I went to several stores to compare them in person and noted several points that makee the Otterbox superior. I like the feel of the silicone skin…I like ease of the holster and I like the extra protection on the holster clip. Many other models simply slip on…they do not have the little “lock” mechanism that keeps it secure on a belt.

Bought this for my high school age son’s iPhone 4S. Girls use purses which secure a phone much more safely than boys who carry their phones in their pockets! My son wears a lot of athletic shorts and pants (not a jeans kind of kid) and because this case has a bit of “grip” to it, it does not fall out every time he sits down! It looks cool (gray and yellow) and is fully functional! He has no complaints about any of the ports or about the additional thickness this case adds to the phone. Oh, and his pictures come out beautifully…nothing is distorted or impaired by the case. I would highly recommend this to everyone…even girls!
